Microneedling Before and After
What is microneedling?
Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), uses a vibrational stamping device fitted with very fine needles to prompt the skin’s natural repair processes. By creating controlled micro-injuries across the skin’s surface, the treatment encourages the production of new collagen and elastin, which are the structural proteins responsible for firm, healthy-looking skin.

Is microneedling right for you?
Microneedling is often suitable for a wide range of skin types and tones. A consultation will help determine whether microneedling is suitable for your skin and health history.
How microneedling treatment works
Your skin will be cleansed before treatment begins. The microneedling device is designed to move comfortably across all facial areas, including the nose, eyes and lips. A topical numbing agent can be applied beforehand to minimise any discomfort.
During treatment, the device creates micro-channels in the skin’s upper layers. These micro-channels can also allow targeted serums, such as hyaluronic acid or mesotherapy solutions, to be applied directly into the skin.
Microneedling treatment cost in Sydney
Treatment costs vary depending on the size of the area being treated and the number of sessions required. We highly recommend booking a consultation to receive a quote based on your specific skin goals.
Results and recovery
After treatment, some redness and sensitivity are normal and typically settle within 24 hours. Mild shedding may occur a few days post-treatment as part of the healing process. Aftercare steps will be provided before you leave.
Potential risks and side effects
As with any skin treatment, microneedling carries some risk. Possible side effects include redness, skin sensitivity, minor pinprick bleeding, bruising, swelling and peeling. Your clinician will go through what to expect and how to manage any discomfort.
